~news worthy

11/7-8/16
Big day at Moo Moo Farms as we are having
Sabay Digital News come out to film and interview us.

These were my 2 little helpers.  Rosa's Dad works at the Farm and they've set up their home in an
area inside the barn.  Rosa took awhile to warm up to us but now she goes wherever I go.
I brought with me some good brooms, as the outside of the barn isn't as pristine as when Kenny
was here, so I figured with Sabay coming tomorrow I could go pitch in.  It was a thousand degrees outside but that didn't stop Rosa enlisting her little friend to come and help in our cause.
I don't know if you can tell, but Rosa is a woman through and through.  Bossing this sweet little boy around and dictating how he should do the work.  He just complied like most good husbands do!
Every one was doing their best and mostly just continuing the jobs they always do.
This is Try, he is the Branch President in the Khmer Ward that also meets in our building
in Phnom Penh.  He is the hardest worker you will ever find.  He can do everything at the
farm and is also our "go to guy" if there are any repairs that need fixed.  He's the best.
Our newest baby "female" calf.  She is strong, healthy and a real beauty.
Here is a little brown Bull Calf.  He was a little weak when he was born and is growing more slowly.  We will keep him and make him strong and healthy.  I guess it just depends on so many
circumstances as to the outcome of each of these births.  We have been able to
see a few born when we are out at the farm and that has been amazing.

Billy joking around with the staff.  Like I said before we have a great group of workers.
They are learning how important each step is and that every job that they do has positive
(and negative) consequences.  It has been so great when they learn from their mistakes and
then see the milk production go up when everyone is doing everything correctly.
They told me to do a "Selfie" with them but as you can see it wasn't too successful!
I'm afraid I will be a bit sunburned tomorrow from the sweeping and trash pick-up.
Bill and I both spoke to them at the meeting (and Him, the farm manager - front and
center - was our interpreter).  My biggest goal is to have them take pride in their
work place and make it have a conducive atmosphere for a good work environment.
Here is Nin (the YM's President in his Branch, located close to the Farm), and the 2 News
guys filming the milking process.  They were really great, nice and funny.  Hopefully it will
be a big hit on the News. The last blurb they did on Moo Moo Farms some of the feedback
was not all positive.  There were a few skeptics who didn't believe that the Dairy Farm really
existed, thus they wanted to come out and show them that, "Yes, indeed, there is a working,
successful dairy farm in Cambodia and it's called Moo Moo Dairy"!
