~blessed

September 27, 2017
Tomorrow I'll be having (unexpected) surgery on my EYE.  Apparently the scar tissue is growing and they are worried that it is damaging my eye/vision so they need to go in and remove the silicone oil and peel off the scar tissue and evaluate what damage (if any) has been done and how to proceed! We are hoping and praying that this 4th surgery will actually be a Home-Run Success!  It has been a bit weird not being able to see out of my left eye since April 25th but wearing a patch (except at church and pictures) has helped with the headaches and there is a possibility that I won't have to have an air bubble, gas bubble or the silicone oil put back in my eye. I don't know if they will put my lens back in (later) because as the doctor said, "If the camera is broken it won't matter what lens you try to use". The best news is my right eye is still doing well and Billy's hip is doing fantastic so we're excited for those blessing!

~today ~ Robbies Birthday

Robbie's Birthday Dinner~
We celebrated Robbie's Birthday Dinner at 'The Cheesecake Factory'.
We had a great waiter and the food was so deeee-licious!
We had a hard time with Robbie keeping his eyes open.  The flash on the
camera was pretty powerful and every picture found him with his eyes shut!
Here is his Yummy Birthday Cookie~Dough Cheesecake!
Third picture Robbie's eyes were still closed 😂.
I've been wearing my eye patch pretty much nonstop.  I've found that it helps with my
headaches caused by my left eye trying to focus when it's open and my right eye competing
with it to see through the blur of oil (I try to remember to take it off when we take pictures)!
Finally I turned off the flash and we got a good picture with Robbie's eyes opened
(in spite of it being a bit dark and blurry)!  HaPPy BiRThDaY to Our Sweetest ROBO!!!

~all you need is love

~September 16, 2017
Brandon and Emily had a ring ceremony with Family and Friends.  It was so sweet and as soon as Brandon began saying his vows to Emily he became emotional and you could feel his love for her.  They will make a wonderful eternal couple!
It was such a great evening and so fun to be with these cute kids as they start their lives together!
He is her knight in shining armor!
We've known the Warners since our days in Chicago and followed them to Alpine many years ago!!
Visited with Robbie Olsen1

~oh, playmate

Another play date with Mary!
Went to the Payson Temple with Mary!  It is rated 8 Stars (valued from 1 to 5)!  It was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time.  Heidi and Jeanette were going to come as well but Heidi was having eye problems and Jeanette was busy making preparations for Rhees' Mission Homecoming!
We stopped by Heidi's since Mary hadn't seen her house yet.  Fun to visit Heidi
again and we're hoping that her eye (after cataract surgery) will heal perfectly!

~God be with you till we meet again

9/8/17
Sarah and Timmy have been helping with the animals at the shelter.  Sarah's grandma passed away this week and so they transported one of 'their' doggies up north as they came for the funeral.

On September 4, 2017 after a short illness, AnnaLee Workman Wright slipped peacefully past
the veil to reunite with her beloved Dennis, who died in January this year. It was the eve of their
59th anniversary, and what a joyous reunion it must have been. In life they were rarely apart,
and death’s separation was short. They now embark upon the adventures of eternity.

It was a beautiful service celebrating the life of a beautiful woman.
What a wonderful time to reunite with her sweetheart.

Feeling blessed to have Timmy and Sarah with us and to have my own sweetheart who has
been taking good care of me and driving me all over while my eye heals.  It was a wonderful day!
