~friends til the end

Thailand ~ home of the cheap(er)!!
I had a nice relaxing day while Marianne was at work!
I went and had my hair washed and blown dried, got a
manicure/pedicure and a nice little shoulder/arm
massage to top it off!!  All for $15 ~ it's great to be back!!
Who knew that Starbucks had such moist delicious muffins?
I'll need one every day (I wonder if they slip some caffeine in them!?!)!!
We (Marrianne Poulson, Me and Lynette Pinvises) had dinner at Que Pasa's !!
We invited Barbara to join us but she had a "date night" with Grant!
What's this???? Because of the rain (major flooding) Grant and Barbara
decided to come to Que Pasa instead of to their glamorous
restaurant where they had planned on going!!
Lucky for us we got to visit with them some more!!
I've really missed their tostados (and these two ladies great conversation) ~
they truly are the most scrumptious (tostados not Marianne and Lynette!)!
We convinced the boys to take us back to Que Pasa's ~
notice my tostado that I had again?  ~
What can I say, except that they are the BEST!!
(Bill and Greg with the their girls!)!
Fun story: these 2 young men showed up at church on Sunday so after Sacrament Meeting was over we started up a conversation with them!  They are Jonathan Honeycutt and Cragun Liston out doing an Internship in China and needed to do a "Visa" run and came to Thailand!  After we talked for awhile we found out that Timmy was Cragun's Zone Leader in the NY, NY Mission!!
How crazy is that!?!  Such a small, small world!!
And maybe Jonathan will go to StG and resurrect the Shrimp Farm!!
The little playmates being reverant at Church!!
Barbara taught the RS lesson and it was Fantastic ~
I would not have expected anything less!!!
Billy's posse gathered around him after church!
Some things never change ~ which I am ok with!!!
Mathew Bunker was at church as well (in Thailand on a business trip)!  His son, Christopher, is arriving tomorrow to serve 2 years on his mission back here in Thailand!!  Unfortunately, Mathew leaves right before Christopher arrives (probably for the best . . . NOT!!  I would want to sneak-a-peek one last time
but I would probably be disciplined like Mathew or else I would start crying so hard and loud that the sneak-a-peek would not be so sneaky!)!

As silly as it may seem each time we go to Thailand we snap a picture of these benches (there used to be only one in this area).  This was Timmy's Eagle project way back in 2008 and he had distributed 5 benches throughout Nichada Thani so that people waiting for their rides could have a place to sit.  Unfortunately, 3 of them got stolen that first night so eventually they brought the 4th one over to this spot and bolted the 2 remaining into the ground!  It makes us excited each time we see that they are still there!  Good job, Timmy!
