~pratheṣ̄thịy b̂ān h̄ım̀ k̄hxng reā

12/28/05                           thailand, our new home~
We had a very long journey, with many layovers,
but we were seated in the 1st class most of the way!
The boys were real trooper!!

Billy, Timmy, Kenny and Bob ~ guard on the left "guarding"!
We made it to Bangkok, safe and sound!
Billy's boss, Bob Burke, picked us up at the airport.
I do NOT know what we would have done without
Bob as no one spoke a spit of English.

We had to take 3 taxis’s to fit all of our luggage and since his boss speaks Thai he was able to get us to the Marriott Hotel where we will be staying for two weeks (until our flat in Nichada Thani is ready- which is about 45 minutes from the city).

The next night was New Years Eve and Bob invited us over for a party. We got our first experience of Thai food - Very Scary - I do not know how I will survive?? We met some great people who also live out where we will live. We didn't stay too long as Timmy wasn't feeling well and we had let him stay at the hotel by himself.

~Family is Everything

I love you so~

There are many things in life that will bring
a person happiness.  For me, along
with my Testimony of Jesus Christ,
my most important and prized possession
is my family, who has brought me joy,
happiness and fulfilment.
I’m so thankful for my husband and my children and their respective spouses
and my grandchildren.  They are examples of righteous living and are
hard-working people who contribute to society each and every day!
I’m thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that I have
of the love and help we can get from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
As we continue to be disciples of Christ;
being true to our beliefs, standing strong
in our testimony and sharing our love and conviction
of the Gospel with others, this is where true joy will be found.
Our family has shared many wonderful adventures
but the one that we enjoy the most is the continual
journey that we are on that will bring us closer to Christ
and take us back to live with our Heavenly Father.
